Position:
River Partners owns and manages over 4,000 acres across the Sacramento and San Joaquin Valleys. Our Acquisitions Team is looking for someone to help us grow our network of conservation lands, manage our portfolio in wildlife-friendly farming and assist with transitioning lands out of production and into habitat. The Conservation Lands Manager reports to the Director of Acquisition. This position oversees the leasing and management activities on over 2,100 acres of River Partners’ conservation properties, including immediate management of 400 acres of walnut orchards in Colusa County, 1,000 acres of row-crop land in Yolo County, and up to 5 residential leases, 40 acres of almonds, and 2 dairy leases with 700 acres of wheat/corn rotation supporting the dairies in Stanislaus County. Within the first year, it is expected this portfolio of management will grow to up to 3,500 acres. Some travel is required.
