MobilizeGreen seeks conservation-minded Restoration and Revegetation Intern to serve 8 weeks in supporting the Tahoe National Forest of the USDA Forest Service. As a Restoration and Revegetation Intern, you will support the Tahoe National Forest’s efforts to provide informational products to internal and external project leads to help better restore the landscape. At the end of the internship, the Intern will have developed local guidance on revegetation recommendations that incorporate the latest scientific knowledge and guidance on climate change, pollinators, and genetic diversity.
The Virtual Intern Program is designed for current/recent graduates and new professionals to launch their natural and cultural resources careers. The Virtual Intern will receive hands-on learning experience, mentorship, and coaching to complete mission-critical work while developing leadership, critical thinking, and strategic communication skills.
Location: Works remotely from anywhere. The position is Virtual with work based on Pacific Time (PT).
Term: 8 weeks, starting May 16, 2022; Full Time/40 hours per week
